There are two routes for driving to Saleres from Malaga Airport.

The first is the coastal route:

As you leave Malaga Airport follow the N-340 signs (going up over the flyover) for Granda which passes through Nerja, La Herradura, Almunecar and Salobrena. This is one road and easy to follow. It is motorway up to Nerja and then single carriage way (this is best avoided in the busy tourist season).

 

Just after Salobrena and before Motril, there is a major road junction with the N-323 to Granada signposted. Take this turning off the coast road, go around the roundabout and under the road. This will bring you onto the N-323 to Granada.

You will see a garden centre on your right and you will pass extensive greenhouses and orchards. The road takes you through a spectacular gorge and then up into the mountains.

 

Continue on the main road northwards to the turning for Lecrin (valle de Lecrin). Take this turning and turn right at the end of the slip road. Go under the bridge, follow signs for Melegis, Restabel and Saleres. Enter the village of Lecrin (Talares) and follow the signs for Melegis and Restabel, (a right turn). Drive through the village of Melegis passing the los Naranjos restaurant on the right as you leave the village. Follows signs for Restabel and Saleres. On reaching Restabel take a right turn signposted Saleres and Albunuelas, follow this road to Saleres. The main village is straight on at the fork (do not go up the hill to Albunuelas). Take the next right up the hill when you enter the village and park any where along this road.

On parking your car, walk passed the fountain and directly ahead of you up the slope (do not tun back on yourself right)

Casa Colmena is on your left at the corner and Casa del Mulo & El Mulito are right at the corner and then on your left.
