Information on Alumnecar water park:
Almunecar water park is located 40 minutes away from the Lecrin valley by car and makes a great day out. The water park is located in the historical seaside town of Almunecar and is situated on the edge of the coast with great views of the coastline.

The water park is open in July and August and is a fairly large complex with good facilities which caters for everyone. For those that like the bit of adrenalin there a couple of fast water slides. Those that prefer a slower pace they have the inflatable ring rides. The larger pool has a wave machine, though the water is not heated in the heat of the sun it doesn't need to be. For those with small children they have a separate pool area for you to relax in.

The water park hires out sun beds and there is also grass areas if you just wish to lay your towels out on the grass. The water park also has eating establishments around the whole establishment so you don't have to walk from one end to the other. The admission charges in 2006 was:
